After School & Weekend Assistant Coach Roles for High School Students! 

We are currently hiring responsible and enthusiastic high school students (grades 10–12) to serve as Assistant Coaches/Helpers in our weekday after-school programs and weekend programs for this coming Spring Season!

Our Assistant Coaches help support our Head Coaches during classes for children in our TOTS (Ages 2-5) and PDL (Grades K-2) programs. This role is designed to give high school students hands-on leadership experience in a structured, supportive environment while earning pay.

Through this opportunity, students will:

  • Build leadership and communication skills
  • Gain experience working with young children
  • Develop responsibility and professionalism
  • Work flexible after-school and weekend hours
  • Earn $15 per session

Sessions typically run 30–50 minutes and take place on weekdays after school and on weekends in the Bethesda, Potomac, Silver Spring, and Kensington areas.

Our classes are tailored to different age groups:

  • Age 2: Full parent participation, where parents are right by their child’s side, making it a perfect bonding experience.
  • Age 3: Parent transitional class, where many of our young soccer players start to play more independently while still having the support of their parents nearby.
  • Age 4: At age 4 players are able to play on their own being fully independant from their parents.
  • Age 5: At age 5 they are able to start learning the “why” behind the activities we do, they start learning the concepts of defense, offense, playing as a team, winning the ball back, and changing direction all through active play. No lines, no drills, no standing.
  • PDL Grade K-2nd: Players continue developing in the game of soccer. they learn the basic rules of play in the 4v4/5v5 soccer environment. We cover various concepts including dribbling, first touch/ball control, foot and eye coordination, ball control, 1v1 skills, turns/changing direction, trickery, balance, and creativity.
