About Junior Coaches Camp

The Brit-Am Junior Coach (JCP) and CIT Program aims to shape the next generation of leaders that can professionally interact with children, peers, and supervisors by learning through fun. We work to instill confidence in our Junior Coaches to develop their own voice, roles at camp, and whatever life throws their way!

Junior Coach Program (JCP) and Coach In Training (CIT)

The programs are structured into two parts, providing the perfect balance of work and play. Participants will be assigned to a camp group as an assistant coach, and have the opportunity to compete and play against their peers each day at camp. During their “coaching role,” they will help coaches with pre-camp setup and take down, instruction/demonstration, and encouraging campers to have success during the week. During free time, participants will compete against each other in organized games and activities. Play is monitored by Brit-Am’s Head coaching staff, however 100% organized by Junior Coaches.

From field setup to team placements, referee disputes, and other conflict resolutions, Junior Coaches are responsible and will learn the fundamentals of sports management.
